Disposable Nail Polish Brush

At Five Senses, your health and safety are top priorities. We take pride in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. We are proud to use innovative disposable brushes, crafted by Podiatrist Julie in Sudbury, Ontario. After years of experience in the spa industry, Julie recognized the challenge of ensuring complete sterilization of regular nail polish. her unique system, you can now enjoy a safe and hygienic polish application, as, color, and topcoat are poured into sterilized ceramic dishes, with brushes disposed of after each use. Please note that due to the unique viscosity of shellac, veneer, and gel polishes, this system is not applicable for those products.
Diabetic Pedicure
Safety and wellness is our priority.
We understand many people have concerns surrounding being diabetic and receiving pedicures. We always make sure to ask our clients if they are diabetic before starting a manicure or pedicure. Treatment can still be performed with slight modifications. Cuticles will be pushed back gently as to not cause micro-tears in the skin, buffing will be done to remove excess cuticles instead of trimming with cuticle clippers. We analyze the foot more in-depth as well to check for any abnormalities caused by diabetes.
Our Estheticians have been thoroughly trained to perform pedicure treatments safely on clients with many health concerns. If there is a specific health concern you have let us know and we can modify treatments to suit your needs.

Callus Crusher
Refresh your feet with an amazing callus treatment.
Callus Crusher is the perfect treatment to reset and restart your feet. Whether it’s been a long time since your last visit, or your feet need some intense work the Callus Crusher is amazing. The pedicure starts with soaking the feet; after our Peel is applied and wrapped staying on for 10 minutes. This peel is a keratolytic alkaline solution that breaks down the protein bonds that bind the corneum stratum making removal a breeze. While the peel does its job we cut and file nails, buff and remove any excess cuticles. Calluses are treated and moisturizer is applied to leave skin soft and supple.
*As with all pedicures, depending on cracks/calluses we may recommend 2-3 to get the best results*

Rescue Pedicure
Our Elite pedicure for those suffering with callus or cracks
Our Rescue Pedicure is a medical grade pedicure treatment using the highest quality ingredients to remove calluses and improve cracked feet. The pedicure starts with soaking the feet; after our Peel is applied and wrapped staying on for 10 minutes. While the peel does its job we cut and file nails, buff and remove any excess cuticles. Calluses are treated and a foot scrub is applied. A lovely massage is done to help you fully relax and your choice of polish is applied.

Pedicure

Our pedicure commences with cuticles being pushed back and the removal of any dead cuticles and hangnails. The nails are then shaped to help prevent any ingrowns or trauma to the nails.The callus is removed from the feet using a sterilized paddle.* followed by an exfoliating scrub to remove any remaining dry skin. A moisturizer is applied and then followed by a foot massage to help promote further relaxation and to hydrate the skin. Polish is applied using a colour from our wide selection of polishes.

Signature Pedicure
You deserve extra pampering!
Our Signature Pedicure gives you the extra attention and pampering you deserve. Exfoliation is extended to the full lower leg. The pampering continues with a lower leg and foot massage. A paraffin treatment is applied to the feet to help further relax and hydrate the skin. The toes are then polished using a colour from our wide selection of polishes.

Our Express Pedicure begins with the cuticles being pushed back and the dead cuticles are removed. The nails are then shaped to prevent any trauma or ingrown nails. The callus is removed from the feet using a sterilized paddle.*coloured polish is not used*

Gel Polish Removal & Signature Gel Pedicure
